We know you have a lot of choices when looking for a bakery to make your wedding cake.
Cakes created here are not just cakes they are edible artistic centerpieces.
We are a very small cake shop and cake is our specialty, only providing cakes and cupcakes so we can focus on making each one truly amazing.
We bake all of our cakes with love in small batches to ensure they are of the highest quality.
We are able to achieve a fondant like smooth finish using our signature homemade buttercream frosting. Your guests will enjoy a cake made of real frosting instead of a cake they have to work at to remove the fondant covering. When we do use fondant for decorative purposes like ruffles, rest assure there is plenty of buttery smooth buttercream underneath.
You will work with the owner Krysta throughout the process, from first contact through delivery. Krysta bakes, designs and creates each cake, making sure you receive a premium quality product.
How far in advance should I book my cake?
It is suggested that you book your wedding cake 6-8 months prior to your wedding. It is not uncommon for me to book a year out so booking as early as possible is a good idea.
I have a particular cake in mind that I found on the internet, can you replicate it for me.
Due to the artistic nature of the cake industry, I try to respect the original cake designer and feel that it is unprofessional to copy their work. I feel that a cake from Sassie Cakes should be a reflection of the clients unique event and customized as such. I can use cakes found on the internet as inspiration. I actually encourage you to bring several pictures of cakes you like so I can get a better feel for your likes and dislikes, helping me create a cake that is perfect for you.
